About the Journal

A journal for couples. What we read, what we cook, what we dare, and everything in between.

The Couples Red Journal is a small independent publisher for adults. It began with stories about what happens between two people who decide to tell each other the truth: the wanting, the jealousy, the ruin that sometimes follows, and the long repair on the far side of it.

It has grown into more than stories. Alongside the fiction, the Journal publishes the things couples do together: dinners to cook for each other, dares to play, and the small rituals that keep two people close.

It is written for every kind of couple. Married or not, young or long together, of any faith or none.

Anonymous, on purpose

The Journal is written under the pen name C. R. Jules. Readers stay anonymous too. Interests meet. Identities stay checked at the door.

What it will never do

It will never involve anyone under eighteen. It will never name or out a reader. It will never sell your data. The stories are fiction, and the guides are written to be safe and accurate.
