1. Who we are

This website is operated by CRJ, an unincorporated publishing imprint, publishing as Couples Red Journal ("the Journal", "CRJ", "we", "us"). Works published by the Journal are written under the pen name C. R. Jules. C. R. Jules is a pen name and does not identify a separate legal person.

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Adults only

This website and everything the Journal publishes is intended solely for adults aged eighteen (18) years or older, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if that age is higher.

By using this site you represent and warrant that you meet that requirement, that it is lawful for you to access adult material where you are located, and that you are accessing it voluntarily and for your own private use.

If you are under eighteen, or if adult material is unlawful where you are, leave now.

This website itself does not host sexually explicit material. It links to platforms that do. Those platforms apply their own age controls and terms, and you are responsible for meeting them.

3. The work is fiction

Everything the Journal publishes is a work of fiction.

All characters, names, places, businesses and events are products of the author's imagination or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or to actual events, is coincidental.

All characters depicted in any sexual context are adults, eighteen years of age or older, at the time of the events described. This is an unqualified statement about the work.

Nothing in the fiction is advice, not medical, psychological, legal, or relational. It is a story.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this site and in the Journal's publications, text, characters, artwork, marks, and design, is owned by CRJ or licensed to it, and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may read it, link to it, and quote brief passages for review or commentary with attribution.

You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, adapt, perform, or sell any part of it without prior written permission.

No text or artwork published by the Journal may be used to train, fine-tune, or evaluate artificial intelligence or machine learning systems, or included in any dataset for that purpose, without express written permission. Automated collection of this site for those purposes is not permitted and consent is expressly withheld.

The names "Couples Red Journal" and "C. R. Jules", and the Journal's marks, may not be used without permission.

5. Subscriptions and payment

We do not process payments.

Paid subscriptions to the Journal's work are sold and administered by third-party publishing platforms. All billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, taxes, and payment disputes are handled by that platform under its own terms of service, and your subscription is a contract between you and that platform.

We can tell you what a tier includes. We cannot see your card, change your billing, or issue a refund. For anything of that kind, contact the platform where you subscribed.

Prices and tier contents may change. Changes will not alter the terms of a subscription already paid for during its current term.

6. Links, affiliates, and merchandise

This site links to third-party websites and platforms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Following a link is at your own discretion.

Some links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you make a purchase, at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links do not affect what we choose to recommend.

Any physical goods offered are sold and fulfilled by third-party sellers and printers under their own terms. Orders, shipping, returns, and product complaints are handled by the seller, not by us.

7. Email and privacy

If you give us your email address, we use it to send you what you asked for and nothing else. We do not sell or rent it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use this site to break the law, to harass anyone, to attempt unauthorized access, to scrape or harvest content at scale, or to impersonate the Journal or its author.

If any part of this site accepts comments or submissions, do not post anything unlawful, hateful, or infringing, and do not post sexual content involving minors under any circumstance, framing, or claim of fiction. We may remove anything and block anyone, without notice, at our discretion.

9. No warranty

This site is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CRJ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this site or its content.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us directly in the twelve months before the claim (which, since we do not process payments, will usually be nothing) or USD 100.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be noted on this page.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or from use of this site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

For copyright complaints, write to the same address with "Copyright" in the subject line and include enough detail to identify the work and your claim.
